preview: Justin and Simone

Here’s a taste of the photos from Justin and Simone’s beautiful Bahamian wedding this past weekend.  Getting ready was wonderful at the Hook House, right behind the beach where the ceremony took place.  The house has part of its original structure remaining from the 1850’s, including this awesome door:

And yes, that is Simone’s dress peeking out from behind the door!  She had the most beautiful corset lace-up back to her dress, which she altered herself!

But let me back up just a bit… on her way up to put on the dress, there was a window with a perfect view of the ceremony site on the beach.  Simone paused for a moment to take in the scene of what what about to happen.

The ceremony was beautiful, and everyone was able to stay nice and dry.

Simone was surrounded by a super-fun group of girls who were up for anything when we took some photos after the ceremony.  Love it!

They had the cutest little labels made out of palm fronds adorning the food tables at the reception…

And Simone decorated the wedding cake herself!  Justin’s mom baked it, so there was so much love involved in this cake for sure!

As the sun finally set on the happy couple, hearts were full to see the two finally become husband and wife.  The twinkly lights were the perfect accessory to a beautiful evening!

Congratulations, you two!  Stay tuned for a slideshow of the complete photos later this week!
